"We need reform we can believe in, not just a new government program financed by higher taxes, new mandates and a trillion-dollar price tag" --Barack Obama

Really?

One day I’m going to use this thing

You have a majority in House and the Senate and still cannot push it through.

So what's the problem?

I'll tell you (you knew this was coming...)

Grand Master B has yet to make a case why his proposals will reduce costs and deliver better health care services and despite denials by the his administration, the majority of Americans fear Congressional plans will ultimately reduce their choices and lower the quality of their health care.

In fact, 52% of American voters disapprove of the way Obama is handling the health care issue and only 39% of those polled approve.
(The other 9% are illegal aliens waiting for their free health care)

Just because I'm writing this does not mean that I believe nothing should be done.  Something needs to be done, but change for the sake of change is not the answer and slapping a band-aid on a shotgun wound to chest can only do so much.

I have a few ideas – somehow you knew that I would…

Institute legislation that caps malpractice claims - which lower physicians insurance costs – which will reduce medical costs to the patient – it’s not that difficult people???
($25 million for a piece of harmless surgical gauze left in the belly – sign me up for that retirement plan)

Eliminate the current state-run system where each state spends billions of dollars replicating each other's health care regulations?
(We need to find a better way to regulate the industry – I’m not sure how, but there has to be someone out there who understands this shit)

One-third of all health costs are caused by bad health habits (smoking, overeating, lack of exercise, etc.) why not federal legislation that mandates lower premiums for those who lead healthy lifestyles.

Now for the sensitive subject…

One-third of all lifetime medical costs are incurred in the last few weeks of a person's life.  Sometimes you just have to know when to call it a day... (Hey Chris... nahhh – he probably has one or two more years left in him)

AND

I’m not the only one who thinks this is complete bullshit as the president’s approval rating has dipped to the lowest point in his presidency (50%) vs 42% of those who disapprove.
(The other 8% are illegal aliens waiting for their free health care)

Some of the Kool-Aid drinkers will think I’m Obama bashing - I do not believe that we can spend our way out of this mess.  At some point the bill is going to come due and who’s going to be left to repay this debt…

WE ARE.

(As he skips off into the sunset making plans for his presidential library, filling his spare moments with $150,000 speaking engagements)

AND THAT IS UNACCEPTABLE TO ME.
(As unacceptable to me as buying Chrysler products)

Now I don't claim to have the answers like The Notorious B.OB... But perhaps he should stick to something he does well...

That’s the Mack Daddy we all love…

So Mr. President – I’ll leave you with the words of a very wise man…

“Give me something to believe in”
